Smith Family Realty Texas provides a structured real estate agent compensation plan designed to reward production, leadership, and long-term business growth. Agents advance through defined growth stages based on experience, production, leadership, and contribution to the brokerage.

  • Recruit — 60/40 Split | $15,000 Cap | $250 Post-Cap Fee

  • Operator — 70/30 Split | $14,000 Cap | $250 Post-Cap Fee

  • Closer — 80/20 Split | $12,000 Cap | $200 Post-Cap Fee

  • Strategist — 90/10 Split | $10,000 Cap | $150 Post-Cap Fee

  • Commander — 95/5 Split | $8,000 Cap | $100 Post-Cap Fee

All growth paths include broker support, transaction oversight, technology resources, training opportunities, business planning guidance, and access to systems designed to help agents build sustainable, relationship-based businesses. Advancement opportunities are based on production, professionalism, leadership, and overall business development.

Mentor Program

At Smith Family Realty Texas, experienced agents have the opportunity to become mentors and help develop the next generation of real estate professionals.

Qualified Strategists and Commanders may be eligible to serve as mentors for newer agents progressing through the Recruit, Operator, and Closer stages of the brokerage growth path.

Mentors receive additional compensation opportunities, leadership recognition, and the ability to play a direct role in building the culture and future of the brokerage. Mentor compensation is tied to the development and success of assigned agents and is designed to reward meaningful leadership rather than long-term dependency.

Mentor eligibility, compensation, responsibilities, and agent assignments are reviewed through a confidential leadership conversation and are subject to broker approval.

How Mentor Compensation Works

  • Compensation is tied to agent development and progression milestones.

Founding Agent Oppturnity

Founding Agent Availability

Limited to the first 10 qualifying agents.

For a limited time, Smith Family Realty Texas is offering founding-agent opportunities to the first ten qualifying agents who join the brokerage. Founding agents currently receive a 90/10 commission split, a $10,000 cap, a $99 monthly CSA fee, and a $250 post-cap transaction fee. Founding agents also have the opportunity to provide feedback on brokerage systems, technology, training, and future growth initiatives. This program is limited and may be modified or discontinued once all founding positions have been filled.
